Gimos Guide 7
When you'r a college student, you writting pad is not the only thing you need, actually notebooks are the thing of the past.
This isn't like High School where you have separate notebooks for each subject and carry all the books you need.
The books are found in the library.
A thick notebook is enough, if you carry a lot, it'll only slow you down. First, you don't need to write everything, most of the time it's application or photocopied materials are handed out. and the second thing about college, you'll spend more time running than sitting, well in most cases.
So aside from notebook and a pen, here are the stuff you need to survive the college life.
1. Extra Shirt: You may be wondering why? well it's simple, you can't predict what will happen, so its better you have a handy dandy shirt replacement in you bag or locker, shite happens so you better be armed and ready.
What are the extra shirts for?
One time the guys decided to take a sudden trip out of the town, having an extra shirt sure helps in making you look fresh even after the sudden trip, also if anyone saw you that day wont notice that you did'nt even went home and change clothes.
Here's another one.
In any laboratory class, clumsy student are always present, so if ever they spilled any deadly chemicals you'll be able to safe to walk the corridors.
In cafeteria, although most of the "food fight" only happens in the movies, it's a good thing if you have a shirt replacement just in case a chaotic thing happened.
so i guess you get my point.
2. a USB might save the day.
What does usb mean?
Yes, most people here often called it as usb.
"may usb ka ba?" (do you have usb?)
paheram ng USB?" (Can i borrow your USB)
well, i just found out that it's a worng term.
USB means
this means the specification of a serial bus for easy connection of the
peripherals to the PC. It removes the need to open up a PC when adding a new
peripheral device and via the PC Plug-and-Play BIOS and chipsets, allow the
required software to be installed automatically. Up to 127 devices can be
connected to the PC via this bus.

now, The right term is use is the Thumb Drive or Flash Drive.
it's a mobile, rewritable, can store data's anytime (as long as you have a unit of course duh?)
Once opon a time, we use the so called diskett, its square and it has holes and round metal around it, it was good, but you can only put small "K" files, and it's so dang virus prone crap.
"I wraped it in a smooth cloth, put it in a safe air tight box, howcome it got virus? it's impossible"
then the Re-writtable Cd/dvd cam forward!
YEY! I can put my larger files in it! even though it bulky and I look stupid holding a CD everytime!
wow. sure time flies pretty fast huh!
so the USB FLASH DRIVE was in the market.
wow it's expensive (that time)
WOW! 256mb cool!
HUWAW! 1 gig
now
SHITE! what gig is that?
well. my point here is, Flash drive can really help you in mobilizing you data, it'll give you the freedom to bring whateveron whenever. hope you understand.
now.
as i was saying.
in college there are a lot of stuff you need to do, and having this thingy mobob on you pocket sure is a big help.
DID YOU KNOW YOU CAN PIMP YOUR USB FLASH DRIVE?
add background image, change icon, personalized your usb flash drive?
try googling it.
"pimp my flash drive"
when hunger strikes, thank god for skyflakes.
you'll never know when that stomach crumble, it's better you have crackers in you gear so you can chew on it everytime.
what are the benifits of having a cracker?
well it ease hunger, and may help you while waiting for the next break, you can sneak while biting, every time the teacher turns around, grab a bite, they wont have a clue, share to gain friends.
BOY: eating crackers
Girl: listening to the professor
Boy: you like?
Girl: Sure
Boy: Hi, I'm guill
Girl: Hi I'm single!
PASOK! edi may syota ka na!
and also crackers help in case of trouble.
GOON: HOY! UTANG MO
BOY: ah eh, crackers ka muna
GOON: uy! thanks!
Sabay sibat! Lusot na naman.
also having a cracker can help you even if you don't even know it.
In a radio broadcasting recording class
Groupmate1: We need a a sound effects
BOY: eating a cracker, "CRUNCH" ngassab "NGUYA" ngasab "CRUNCH"
Teacher: wow effective fire crackers!
see it's very beneficial in all the college situation.
so don't under estimate the power of crackers.
so I guess that is the 3 things you need.
here's one senario
=-=-=-=-
