Modernized Museo ng Paglilitis ni Andres Bonifacio to Open this November
Historical Commission of the Philippines (NHCP) will open the modernized Museo ng Paglilitis ni Andres Bonifacio in Maragondon, Cavite on 28 November 2014 at 10:00 a.m.
The museum contains a new narrative and interactive displays on the trial of Andres Bonifacio, the events that led to it, and the impact of his execution from the lens of his wife, the Lakambini of the Katipunan, Gregoria de Jesus. The museum also has an e-learning facility where students can access the NHCP’s online lessons on Bonifacio and other Philippine heroes.
A brief program will precede the opening of the museum, with Atty. Arnel Paciano D. Casanova, President and CEO of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority, as guest of honor.
Maragondon Municipal Mayor Reynaldo A. Rillo will give the welcome remarks; NHCP Chair Dr. Maria Serena I. Diokno will lead the opening of the museum.
The NHCP is the national government agency mandated to promote and preserve Philippine historical heritage through research and publication, conservation, marking of historic sites and structures, and administration of national shrines and museums.
Anyhow, check this indie film about Andres Bonifacio. :)
