Festive rivals part 2

about the fire incident that occured last monday at 2pm.

It's no accident.

the same market was "caught in flame" just last 2008

they say that the land was owned by Uniwide, a famous warehouse company here in the philippines. Partialy lend/rented by the local government.

they are claiming the land, leaving entreprenuers and tenants ousted from almost a decade of serving the market place.

They don't like to leave. That is where they live, thats the only way they can get an income.

So they put everything in fire.

then the government will not rebuild the place.

until everyone leaves, by then, the land is back to the company.

It's the same situation with the Baguio Centermall, which is also formerly a public market.

after a fire that destroyed the former public marker it became vacant due to

"under investigation"

The next thing you know, a mall was bieng built.

nice huh.
