Summer Summary
Exceptionally Captivating
Hamilo Coast Pico De Lorro Batangas |
Long drive, sandy beach, sun kissed tanned skin, late nights, sing-a-longs and bunch of booze. This has been a great summer to remember.
Since I've been busy this past months, there are a lot of catching up to do, stories to tell and adventures I need to share.
Even though my day-to-day activities consist of social media monitoring and news gathering and creating infographics on the side, I rarely update my facebook/ twitter on my personal travels, because somehow it felt (at that time) everyone is having all these travel adventures and I don't want to be on the bandwagon. I don't want to spoil the experience by just posting photos and harvesting likes. (just me trying to be a hipster, mainstream boo!)
Summer Summary, (I like how that rings, i'll change my title to that)
First stop: Exploring Pico de Lorroheading to the beach, we are heading to the beach, ~tralalala |
I got the chance to spend 2 nights at this grand luxurious and exclusive resort with a couple of officemates, +Andrea Lynne Reposo +Kristine Agustin +Ryan Joe and +Christian John Calimbas and it was whacked out!
The place was breathtaking, the development of this paradise is exceptional and the food I must say is scrumptious and we were pampered like a spoiled kids.
The pool, the lagoon and beyond was the beach cove |
Late night frolicking
We arrived and greeted by courteous staff, they gave out cold damped towels and refreshments before we checked in.
The room was cozy with a balcony to give you a stunning view.
It was a bit late and with adrenaline stuck in our system, we decided to explore the resort. Unfortunately the beach is closed at 6pm. Its was 10pm and everyone must have been dozed off.
Nobody can stop us! I muttered in the dark corner of the lagoon garden.
The night is young, and so are we! Let's head out and find the sea!
The group obliged to seek for the beach, even though we knew that it was forbidden.
Let's just not get caught! I strongly suggested.
Following my animal instinct and the breeze of the sea in a dark sky, we continued to head south until our feet touched the sand. Once we are there, we ran (quietly) to the shore.
It was dark and the moon and the stars are the only light, with no other people in sight we jumped in the salt water knee high, with just calm and smooth waves. The water is cold despite the warm night.
We lay down in one of the beach chairs and just stared at the starry sky. We laughed and joked around, that moment we are filled with ecstatic joy we forgot about the beach rule.
Prrrtttttttt! A loud whistle broke our laughter.
