Weekend Reviews: Anime Watch List for Fall 2018

Looking for something to binge this weekend? Worry no more!
Here are some of the recent shows I watched this weekend.

Overlord

Total Season 3 with 13 Episodes

I'm a sucker for role playing game type of anime (Except SAO) Prime examples are Gate, Log Horizon, No Game, No Life and Hunter X Hunter story arch on the Greed Island.

Overlord is a refreshing take on the old plot. The main character is a undead guild leader of Ainz Ooal Gown in the famous online game called Yggdrasil (I like how the creator designate unique names of the place, characters and monsters here) Hannah a friend of mine recommended this anime to me with a special note: Do not watch the dubbed english version. (hahah) 
The main character Momonga decided to stay logged in when the server of the game was about to be shut down. He was the only one in his guild left until the final hour.
That is when he got trapped and was unable to log-out. The NPCs or Non Playable Characters started to speak and have their own lives. 
Momonga, took the helm as a supreme leader of the Great Tomb of Nazarick with one objective. To Conquer this new found land.
In his arsenal are insanely overpowered floor leaders. 
Chaotic, Bloody and Funny series that will satisfy your over powered cravings
I rate Overload with 3.8 out of 5 stars. There are some characters that are questionable and I can't wait for them to die.

Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku

Season 1 with 11 Episodes

This maybe the first time I watch this kind of genre, I'm not really familiar with the term. All I know is I'm inclined to watch Shojo.
Love is really hard in this romantic comedy anime that tackles a "geek" or otaku's struggle to have a real life relationship. 

Narumi, a female office worker who hides her fujoshi lifestyle, and Hirotaka, a handsome and capable company man who is secretly a game otaku. The two seem perfect for each other, but love is difficult for otaku.

One of my favorite is scenes are when they join together to play a game at Hirotaka's house. I love anime playing games. hahaha! 

I rate this Series a hefty 4 out of 5 stars

That time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime

Season 01: On going

Hannah said that most people love this anime more than Overlord. Same plot however mr. Slime here is a good fella, with his emotion still in tack. A regular office worker, was killed and reincarnated as this supreme slime being "OP" skills and magic ( overpowered) 

Lonely thirty-seven-year-old Mikami Satoru is stuck in a dead-end job, unhappy with his mundane life, but after dying at the hands of a robber, he awakens to a fresh start in a fantasy realm...as a slime monster. As he acclimates to his goopy new existence, his exploits with the other monsters set off a chain of events that will change his new world forever.
