Loving Ilocos!

The sembreak is almost over, and another semester is about to begin. Well, the Holloween is almost done and we had the chance to celebrate it with style.

This year my co-workers and buddies gathered our stuff and went to the Ilocos!
A province where one of our pals "Benidick" will celebrate his graduation party.

We are all excited, Jerome, Jester, Marcial, Djon, and Genisis. We did invite several girls and other student but they seem to have a plan of their own so we ended up going anyways.

The Trip:

Road trip in a roller coaster mini bus, we don't have enough cash in hand, the cheapest way to get their is thru a ordinary mini bus, the trip was long and a bit slow, it's okay as long as we are safe. we left Baguio city at around 3pm, we entertained ourself by taking photos, dancing while the bus is running, making noises, yes we're a bit noisy cause were bored, Marcial kept on craking shameless stunts that is too embarrasing yet so funny, that he did not care about the other passengers, although the bus is also as loud as we are so it's okay.

Then we got tired, the sun is setting accross the horizon, and before we knew it, it was dark. Well a few stop over made our trip that long we arrived at ilocos Candon at around 7:30pm

MACDONALDS! i screamed surprised that they have a mcdo, it's like the middle of nowhere! It's a bit early and everything was quite, only a few people are at sight, the roads are not well lit, and only few lampost are seen. It was like a ghost town.

I'm sorry i screamed, i said while my buddies are staring at me and was saying.

What the fuck Guill!

anyhow, Ben came, and we had the chance to walk in the park, surprisingly, Genisis seemed to know someone so he took off. Jerome and Djon took the motorcycle and head home first, while The rest of us looked for some booze and stroll around the park.

Genisis took a long time, and we had to wait him in the park. He has no cellphone. and we got worried a little bit, and annoyed.

Then out of the blue, his with someone, i knew him but forgot his name, we said hi, and told him our plan, and we are hoping to let him join, but he said he got stuff to do so byebye.

We rode a trike, and went to this sitio, it's quite far from our pick up point there are a lot a fields, along the straight street, with no lights, it was scary cause we are imagining that something will gonna pull us out of the trike or grab us from the dark cold plains.

It wasalmost a 10min. drive, and thank god we arrived at Ben's place.

THE HOUSE

The house is a two floor wooden old typical Filipino house, with no locks on the doors and open windows.
We ate diner, said "Hi to Ben's Mom, Dad, Big Brother, and a whole bucn of cousins and relatives. Hey in this place everyone is Bens relative! it's a small town!

We had some booze after.

We set off to sleep, And I watched HP and the half-blood prince in a laptop, here's the thing, i need to put the speaker in my ear, the place is so quiet that even a single sound can be heard in the whole house! hehe and I fell asleep at around 1 or 2am hehe, its a bit scary.

DAY2

Woke up earlier that I expected, the bed was cozy and the air is warm, the window is open and the light is passing thru like a brigde. I donno who woke me up but he jumped right over me, and I was like freakin half-asleep and bit groggy.

Breakfast is served! Wow! Fresh from the farm.

Lifestyle here is very simple and peaceful, everyone is working and everyone knewone another, we had an inside joke that if you liked somebody in this town better not court her, because she is somehow your cousin, so you need to go to the other town and look for some date.

I did not mind my diet, I ate and thank them for the best farm breakfast ever.

FARM LIFE and A BEACH party!

We are going to the beach and wishing for a Sun Burn!

Yes the beach! I was longing for it.
We walk a couple of miles form the house and went to Ben's Uncle with an small jeep type of car, we call it oner type jeep. (idonno about the spelling) then we went to the beach!

Ah! the sand, the smell of ocean, salty and warm, the sand, so white with the water so clear, although there are a lot of woods and dry leaves on the shore, theysay after a storm, the shore would always looked like this.

We are near a lighthouse, there are several fishing boats parked not far from shore.
It looked like hawaii almost.

The sun is burning the sand, and its starting to get hot! So I decided to take a plunge! and it was the most awesome feeling!

The sky is also clear with no clouds around.

The Hotel and Restaurant boys Jerome and Jester prepared a special meal, Milk Fish stuffed with tomatoes and onions grilled.

We ate lunch and dived in the water.

There are no other people, so we felt like a survivor thingy, and some of us took everything off and it was a nude beach hehe, we own the place and ride to waves!

Again we ate some ships took a lot of photos and gobble up a lot of Pepsi colas.

Wow! and we never got tired. The waves was pull was strong, it was scary, we got hit by strong surges and we areafraid to go too far from the shore.

and we sing

Carry me to the shoreline
Bury me in the sand
Walk me across the water
And maybe you’ll understand
Once the stone
You’re crawling under
Is lifted off your shoulders
Once the cloud that’s raining
Over your head disappears
The noise that you’ll hear
Is the crashing down of hollow years

The sun soon sets on the beach.the view is fantastic, so calm and after that it wasdark so we decided to go home.

Everyone is friendly, and nice. Love Ilocos!
